The Women Build program, underwritten by Lowe's recruits, educates and nurtures women to build and advocate for - simple, decent and affordable houses in their communities. Lowe's has been a national supporter of Habitat since 2003.

Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia received a Lowe’s Women Build grant of $25,000 for the Affiliate’s first Women Build.Thehouse will be built in the Bean Creek area of White County in the Sautee Nacoochee Valley. Bean Creek is the community where many former slaves settled after emancipation and Sabrina is a fifth generation Bean Creek resident.
