25th Anniversary
of Habitat for Humanity of Northeast
Georgia
We
are celebrating our 25th anniversary! The
Northeast Georgia Affiliate was started in 1985 by
pastors and lay people from area churches. We have built 60 houses to date in Habersham and
White counties and house number 61 is in
progress. Through the international
home building tithe, we have served over 36 families,
primarily in Guatemala. (Read

Thank
You Brent
The Habitat for Humanity of
Northeast Georgia affiliate has been blessed with good
leadership throughout its 25-year history. This was most
apparent over the last 3 years under the leadership of
Brent Lacy, Executive Director. Needless to say HFH of
NEGA was saddened when Brent tendered his resignation on
April 20, 2010. Always the professional, Brent agreed to
remain as Executive Director until HFH of NEGA could
find a replacement, providing we did so in a timely
manner.
Brent has guided HFH of
NEGA to new heights and strengthened this affiliate both
financially and organizationally. His leadership and
community outreach will be dearly missed. Speaking on
behave of the HFH of NEGA Board and our volunteer base,
we wish Brent nothing but the best in his next endeavor
and thank him for a job well done.
Thank you Brent for giving
HFH of NEGA a part of your life. Keep us in your
thoughts and prayers as you move forward to your next
adventure.
